Today my mom SEMI-surprised me by visiting with my sister & my best friend from childhood.
(I say "SEMI-surprised," because she only told me about these entirely UN-expected visitors yesterday.)
I chatted, played Scrabble & played Connect Four with my [VERY welcome] company. I will NOT mention who won EVERY game we ALL played, because I am NOT a braggart.
... But, I strongly yearn to return to my [EXTREEEEEEMELY] sociable past. Writing/Authorship is a very LONESOME profession.
