The TRUE "MARK" of MATURITY is 

when somebody "HURTS you" (PHYSICALLY/EMOTIONALLY/PSYCHOLOGICALLY/ETC.), and you try to UNDERSTAND his/her situation--INSTEAD OF trying to "HURT" said person back.
